At The Office

Lucy Williams jumped as the front door slammed. A minute later Melissa Smyth, Lucy’s room-mate, stormed into the living room with a face like a thundercloud, threw herself into a chair and sat glowering with her arms crossed.

“Something wrong?” Lucy asked without taking her eyes from the textbook she was reading.

“It’s my dad,” Melissa blurted.

That got Lucy’s attention. She glanced up, feigning nonchalance.

“Richard? What about him?”

She tried to keep her voice neutral but just the mention of his name made her pulse quicken. Her eyes strayed to the door. Beyond it she could see across the hallway into the bathroom and the rug that covered the floor. A week ago Lucy had been on her back on that rug with Richard, Melissa’s father, on top of her.

Lucy’s pussy tightened at the memory. She could almost feel the rough texture of the rug on her back, taste Richard’s sweat as he writhed atop her, smelled his intoxicating scent as he fucked her hard and deep.

“Something’s going on with him,” Melissa said. “I’ve just been to see mom and she went all cagey when I mentioned him, like they’d had a fight or something.”

Lucy swallowed a few times before speaking. “What do you think’s wrong?”

Melissa frowned, fiddling with her blonde ponytail. “I don’t know but it’s obvious mom and dad are having problems. Why don’t they tell me? I’m not some silly little girl who can’t handle it!”

“Perhaps they want some privacy,” Lucy said in a rush, trying to deflect her friend. “Or perhaps your dad’s stressed. You said he works very hard.”

“Maybe.” Melissa didn’t sound convinced.

“I’m sure it’s just that,” Lucy pressed. “Where did you say he works?”

“Connect Advertising in the city but he’s been there years. I don’t think it’s got anything to do with that.”

Lucy snapped her text book shut and stood. “I’m sure it’ll work itself out, Melissa. I’m going to study in the library. I’ll see you later, okay?”

“Mmm.”

Grabbing her bag, Lucy hurried out. As she pulled the door closed behind her, her thoughts whirled. She had to see Richard, had to find out if his marital problems had anything to do with her.

And now she knew where he worked.
